VIII Diploma in Public and Business Administration

On February 2nd, the 8th Diploma Program in Public and Business Administration began at the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG) with an enrollment of 28 state and government officials from 26 different agencies, including central government bodies, national entities, business groups, and companies. The Rector of ESCEG, Dr. Mercedes Delgado Fernández, outlined the program's characteristics, the work that will be defended in week 10, introduced the main directors and professors, mentioned the number of graduates from the institution in its 14 years of existence, and invited them to the 1st International Convention on Innovation and Leadership in Public and Business Administration (CILAPE), from October 12th to 16th, the date on which the institution will celebrate its 15th anniversary. Finally, she denounced the flagrant violations of International Law resulting from the hostile and aggressive escalation of the US government against Cuba, further exacerbating the cruel, unjust, and criminal blockade imposed on our people for more than 60 years. He explains that the new executive order from the US President, announced on January 29, 2026, aims to impose economic strangulation measures on third countries through blackmail, threats, and direct coercion, preventing fuel from entering our country. Surrender will never be an option, and difficult times like these must be faced with courage and bravery. In the centennial year of the birth of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, and in light of our heroic history of struggle for the independence and sovereignty of our homeland, the decision is clear: Homeland or Death! We will prevail!
