The VI edition of the Diploma in Public and Business Administration advances
From February 17 to 24, students of the VI edition of the Diploma in Public and Business Administration received training on the generic competencies and competency profiles of staff, management, innovation, strategic foresight and legal bases for management.
The students were grouped into 7 work teams, to develop skills by carrying out activities, such as case studies, practical exercises, statistical and foresight software, progress in the development of the final work, political-cultural activities and for the assimilation and learning of different contents.
On February 24, the students presented the progress of the application of the diagnostic tools taught in the first week, on the topic identified for the final work, such as: cause-effect diagram, identification of key variables with the use of foresight, analysis of the link of the topic with the Economic and Social Policy Guidelines for 2021-2026, Macroprograms of the National Economic and Social Development Plan to 2030, government projections to eradicate distortions and re-boost the economy, as well as the use of statistical techniques such as the Pareto diagram and the box plot. One of the work teams organized the political activity for the historical remembrance of February 24, 1895, the day of the Grito de Baire, the date on which the war for Cuban independence was restarted, known as the beginning of José Martí's Necessary War. Other historical dates were remembered.
