Today begins a cycle of online seminars on "Digital transformation for governance" with the Russian Academy of Economics and National Public Administration (RANEPA)

Covered in the Memorandum of Cooperation, for training in the fields of public administration and companies, signed in September 2019, between the Higher School of State and Government Staff (ESCEG) and the Russian Academy of Economics and Public Administration Nacional (RANEPA), attached to the President of the Russian Federation, today begins a cycle of online seminars on "Digital transformation for governance", online training organized jointly by both institutions.

The exchange takes place through the Jitsi Meet Platform, with more than 100 participants. In addition to representatives of the Board of Directors, specialists and professors of the ESCEG, representatives of institutions from all over the country attend the virtual appointment: ministries, state bodies, national entities, institutes, universities, research centers, branch schools, business groups , companies, among others, as well as the National Innovation Council.

The opening remarks of the virtual exchange were given, by the Cuban side, by Dr. C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández, Rector of the ESCEG and, by the Russian side, by PhD. Maxim Nazarov, Vice Chancellor of RANEPA and PhD. Ruslan Korchagin, Acting Director of the Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service (IPACS).

Digital transformation and the digital economy are strategic sectors of government management and are part of the medium and long-term development plans of both the Russian Federation and Cuba.

The online training program provides for the development of 4 seminars:

November 15, 2021: Seminar “Digital Economy of the Russian Federation”, which will be given by Elena Ermolaeva, PhD in Economics, associate professor of the Department of State Regulation of the Economy of IPACS RANEPA.

November 18, 2021: Seminar "Digital transformation, new markets and management systems", which will be given by experts Elena Kireeva, Doctor of Law, Dean of the Faculty of Personnel Management and Public Function, Head of the Support Department Legal Officer of the State and Municipal Service of IPACS RANEPA and Maxim Prokoshin, PhD in Law, Director of the Effective Public Administration Program of IPACS RANEPA and member of the Center for Studies of Public Finance and Tax Law in Central and Eastern Europe.

November 29, 2021: Seminar “Electronic government. Experiences in the Russian Federation ”, which will be taught by Ruslan Korchagin, PhD in Technical Sciences, Acting Director of IPACS RANEPA.

December 2, 2021: Seminar “Digital Government. Experiences in the Russian Federation ”, which will be taught by Konstantin Nosachev, Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, RANEPA expert in state digital processes and electronic government program systems, responsible for Information Technology (IT) projects , for the public and business sectors.

The ties of friendship and collaboration between the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG) and the Russian Academy of Economics and National Public Administration (RANEPA), attached to the President of the Russian Federation, continue to be strengthened.
