Third Edition of the Diploma in Public and Business Administration prepares in economic, accounting and financial management

Students of the III edition of the Diploma in Public and Business Administration receive the course “Financial Accounting Economic Management” from November 15 to 24 at the ESCEG. They address the topics referred to the National Plan for economic and social development to 2030 and macroeconomic elements, taught by directors of the Ministry of Economy and Planning. The foundations of Marxism-Leninism are taught by Dr. C. Olga Fernández Ríos, Senior Researcher at the Institute of Philosophy and vice president of the Cuban Academy of Sciences. Topics related to: basic elements of financial accounting, management accounting for decision making, government accounting, planning, budget execution and verification of public spending, interpretation of financial statements, role of finance in public administration are also addressed. and business, sources of financing, self-assessment of internal control with strategic audit. Case studies, exchange panels and teamwork are used and several faculty professors and managers who hold responsibilities linked to these topics in the country participate.
