With the transparency that characterizes the leaders of the PCC, the State and the Government, a special address was made this Monday morning by the First Secretary of the PCC and President of the Republic and other leaders of the PCC, the State and the Government to explain to our people the situation in the country.
In this appearance, a group of renowned journalists participated, who had the opportunity to formulate certain questions regarding the current situation of the country in terms of: energy carriers, the pandemic, the effects on the economy, the behavior of vaccines and others. topics of general interest to all of our people.

One of the first questions asked was aimed at clarifying the difficult situation of the electricity sector associated with breakdowns in its generation plants, a situation caused by the blockade that has not allowed the purchase of inputs and others for the power plants, which has induced deterioration of the plants due to the overload they assume violating even the repair periods, thanks to the ingenuity and dedication of the workers in the sector and despite not having the necessary resources, progress has been made in solving the problems that these have presented plants that will restore all service in the next few days.
Another of the important issues assessed was the situation of the pandemic, the pandemic peak in which we find ourselves, particularly the territory of Matanzas, a situation that has not lacked an intentional strategy to resolve the difficult situation, which has had the commitment of all health personnel, the incorporation of recent graduates and the outstanding work of medical science students, which will allow progress in the trend towards control. The exposed elements reveal the greatness of our Revolution, the will of the PCC and the Government to continue fighting for the health of our people, sparing no resources despite the great limitations that the blockade has caused us.

Our vaccines are a reflection of the intelligence and sovereignty of our scientists, with them we will not only vaccinate all our people, we will help friendly peoples who are also going through a difficult situation of the pandemic.
Our Revolution is great and nothing and no one will be able to defeat it, as long as there are revolutionaries willing to give everything, committed to our PCC and our Government, those who work tirelessly for the life of Cuba, peace, tranquility and the well-being of all our population.
