Students of the Public Administration Specialty exchange about Public Policies

The students who are studying the VIII edition of the Public Administration Specialty at the Higher School of State and Government Staff, developed, as part of the Public and Population Policies Course of the program, important exchanges with holders and experts of approved policies and programs, coordinated by Dr.C Marlenys Martínez Clapé course teacher.
Dr. C Antonio Aja, Director of the Center for Demographic Studies of the University of Havana (CEDEM-UH) presented the topic of Attention to demographic dynamics in Cuba, also representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, led by his First Vice Minister Yaniris Hernández Vento presented an update on social programs and the long-term vision of the nation's social security system and the challenges it faces, concluding with the presentation of the Government Program for the Advancement of Women, led by Anierka Fernández, member of the National Secretariat of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC).
The analyzes demonstrated the importance of the design, implementation, control and evaluation of Public Policies for the development of the country, its commitment to citizens and the responsibility of public servants for compliance.
