Starts the Higher School of State and Government Staff Training for Logistics Managers of the General Customs of the Republic (AGR).

As part of the strategic alliances between the Higher School of Staff of the state and the Government, a training course was started for logistics chiefs of the General Customs of the Republic (AGR). This course and training, which will be taught in face-to-face and intensive mode, consists of 24 hours of teaching, theoretical and practical activities.
Among the contents that will be taught, the following stand out: The functional approach. Process approach. Process Management Model. Process breakdown model. Identify for Customs (in a first approximation) all types of processes. Concept of owner and participant in each process. Structure vs. process relationship matrices. General Method of Solving Problems. Evolution of the environment and the concept of Logistics. Evolution in Cuba. The Logistics Process. Sub Processes. Activities. Demands, purchases. Loads, unitization of loads, graphic marks. External transport, warehouses, inventories, reverse logistics and risk analysis of the logistics process.
The course will be held at the Customs Training School, with the participation of 16 cadres from all over the country and will run until March 11. The contents will be taught by ESCEG professors, Dr. María Lilia Santos from the Study Center and Dr. José A. Díaz, from the Department of Business Administration and Management. The course constitutes an expression of the advances in the preparation of the cadres and reserves of the State and the Government.
