Science and Technology Forum with young people from the Frutas Selectas Company

On October 21 at the Science and Technology Forum 2023 and the III meeting of young people of the Frutas Selectas Company, coordinated by its General Director Yankiet Echeverría Castellanos, the Higher School of State and Government Staff (ESCEG), represented by its Rector , Dr. C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández, participates in a panel with the presentation “Innovation Management”. He is also accompanied as panelists by Dr. C. Francisco Borrás Atiénzar, with the topic “Role of business finances”, who teaches classes at the ESCEG. Other speakers are the Rector of the University of Artemisa, Dr. C. Adianez Fernández Bermúdez, who presents the topic of the university-business link. Two experiences are presented about communication with the Cuban Television program “Crecer conciencia” and that of the director of the MSME “Bormey, specialized in the diversification of high value-added peanut products. Finally, the hero of the Republic of Cuba, Orlando Cardoso Villavicencio, intervened, warning about the need to produce food with technological discipline in the country. The Director of Staff of the Ministry of Agriculture, Julia Muriel Escobar, was present at the session.
In the afternoon, the two best prizes and those of each of the work commissions were awarded by the President of the Agricultural Group (GAG). Orlando Linares Morell and the General Director of the Frutas Selectas Company. This meeting in which more than 150 young people from all over the country participated with more than 80 scientific works allows the generation of management skills, socialization of best practices, motivating the assimilation of new knowledge and technologies, identifying in young people the quarry and reserve of tables, as well as project innovations that increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the business system. The motto of the Forum was “Innovative ideas, entrepreneurial minds.”
