The Rector of the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG), Dr. C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández, is part of the delegation of rectors of Cuban universities that visits federal universities of the State of Minas Gerais, as part of an academic exchange, which runs from April 13 to 19, 2024. The ESCEG, within the framework of the 2024 University Congress, signed cooperation instruments with the following Brazilian universities: 1. International cooperation group of Brazilian universities 2. Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) 3. Federal University of the Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) 4. Federal University of Latin American Integration (UNILA) 5. Federal University of Sao Paulo 6. Federal University of Mato Grosso Do Sul 7. Federal Rural University of Pernambuco 8. Federal University of Goiás 9. Federal University of Lavras 10. Federal University of Rio de Janeiro 11. Federal University of Pelotas During the visit to the State of Minas Gerais, the Rector signed two new cooperation instruments: 1) Cooperation Agreement with the Federal University of Ouro Preto and 2) Protocol of Intent with the Federal University of Alfenas - UNIFAL-MG. The Cuban delegation, in addition to the Ministry of Higher Education and the ESCEG, was made up of the following higher education institutions: 1. Artemis University 2.
