Projecting the future from the preparation in Strategic Foresight

As part of the professional improvement activities of the Escuela Superior de Cuadros del Estado y el Gobierno (ESCEG), three Courses in Strategic Foresight are developed, the purpose of which is to: Characterize the strategic prospect, Determine the variables and key actors that influence In a complex problem, Design future scenarios and Develop strategies to promote the achievement of favorable scenarios or the adaptation to the most likely unfavorable ones. This preparation is carried out by the ESCEG Board of Directors and managers and specialists from the Higher School of the “Ñico López” Party and the University of Artemisa.
The course is developed in the distance modality, using the Moodle platform and its teaching is in charge of the professor Dr. C. Lydia Garrigó Andreu, who enjoys prestige and authority on the subject. The Prospective Course directed to the ESCEG, contributes to the work carried out by the institution, with a view to preparing it for the Institutional Evaluation
