With the presence of Miguel Mario Cabrera Castellanos, head of the Directorate of State and Government Personnel (DCEG), the presentations of the theses by students participating in the 10th edition of the Training Program for Key Positions began on September 29th of this year. The academic activity was led by the Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs, Dr. José Luis López Carmenates, who, along with faculty members, served as a panel for the presentation of four projects. These projects focused on the socio-economic impact and development of a renewable energy project in the province of Camagüey; improvements in multi-level management for the sustainability of the Family Doctor and Nurse program; a proposed digital tool for monitoring and controlling the National Development Plan 2030 (PNDES 2030); and the transformation of the local food system in the municipality of Mayarí. The presented works make a significant contribution to the management of municipalities and other institutional structures. During the defense ceremony, the value of the presented proposals and the effort demonstrated by the students were recognized. The students combined their training tasks with the development of a comprehensive academic exercise, supported by methods and techniques learned at ESCEG.

Following the presentations, the students graduated, received their certificates, and expressed their gratitude for the lessons learned during this period. The head of the State and Government Cadre Directorate delivered the closing remarks, highlighting the efforts made, the results achieved, and ESCEG's leading role in these preparations.

Among those present at the event were Eduardo Rodríguez Dávila, Minister of Transportation; Nelson E. Cordovés Reyes, Head of the General Customs Office of the Republic; as well as other key state and government officials, cadre directors, Havana mayors, and representatives of national entities.
