IX National Workshop on the Impact of Graduates in Public Administration (AP), Business Administration and Management (DGE) and Public and Business Administration (APyE)

On June 23, 2023, it was carried out successfully, from the Escuela Superior de Cuadros del Estado y del Gobierno (ESCEG), by videoconference, with the participation of more than 20 institutions responsible for preparing the cadres and their reserves in the country, the IX National Workshop on the Impact of Diplomas in Public Administration (AP), Business Administration and Management (DGE) and Public and Business Administration (APyE). On the occasion of the meeting, improvement managers and coordinators of the diploma courses shared their experiences in the delivery of the three modalities of diploma courses. The subscription to the Workshop was made through a file in which the participants presented their experiences, good practices and proposals for improvement of the Diplomas designed or taught in the period 2022-2023. Said evaluation included the reference to elements such as: registration (level of approval, types of positions and origin, whether from sectors, municipalities or business system), venue, modality (face-to-face, blended, virtual or combined), updating of content and skills, good practices, faculty and cadres that teach classes, evaluation system, experiences, as well as general considerations on the three modalities of graduates. The Workshop began with the delivery by Dr. C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández, Rector of the ESCEG, of the Conference "Government management model oriented to quality and innovation and generic competencies of cadres". More than 50 improvement managers and coordinators of the institutions responsible for the preparation of cadres and their reserves participated in the Workshop, in the areas of public and business administration. Also present were directors and officials of the Government of the province of Santiago de Cuba.
