Inauguration of the I Edition of the Diploma in Public and Business Administration at ESCEG



On May 16, the Rector of the ESCEG, Dr. C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández pronounces the opening words of the I Edition of the Diploma in Public and Business Administration with an enrollment of 37 cadres. In his speech, he alludes to the fact that the Diploma program emphasizes the knowledge and skills required in management work for decision-making by cadres in main positions, updating policies and regulations of the current context, with emphasis on the government management based on the pillars of science and innovation, social communication and computerization (digital transformation) for the fulfillment of the agreements of the 8th Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba. A Diploma with greater comprehensiveness is guaranteed and the experience accumulated in the last 10 years at the ESCEG is used. It will be developed for 10 weeks, with the characteristic that the management responsibilities of the students are combined with the teaching activities and practical activities will be carried out differentiated between the students of the public and business administration for the generation of skills, with groups and subgroups for certain contents according to the preparation needs and the type of activity.
In the Virtual Learning Environment of the School, the information of the Diploma, its generalities, courses, legislative compendium, software, bibliography and other complementary materials will be available, through which online communication with students will be guaranteed. Through the Automated Student Management System, they will register tomorrow morning. They will be given a collection of books that collects the experience accumulated throughout the previous editions of Diplomas and Specialties.
