Graduation of the VIII edition of training for the quarry of fundamental positions

For 6 weeks, training for the pool of fundamental positions was carried out, with the students graduating on Nov 1, 2024 at the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG) with the presentation of the final works as innovation projects. 
This preparation includes a first week at the ESCEG in which they receive content, both from professors of the institution for the assimilation of generic management skills, the use of innovation tools, strategic foresight, information and communication, legal bases for management, economic culture and digital transformation, as well as update conferences given by senior officials of the State and Government. 
Subsequently, for 3 weeks they participate in government management, together with the deputy prime ministers and in central government activities, the fifth week they work with the management teams of a municipality in Havana. The sixth week is used to conclude and defend the final work that is guided in the first week, on a strategic topic in which they must creatively propose solutions and innovations for implementation in a municipality in the country. The final works are developed in teams of 3 students and the defense involves deputy prime ministers, head of the State and Government cadre directorate and the main bosses, from the students' backgrounds.
