Graduation of the VIII Edition of the Specialty in Public Administration

On January 16, on the Day of Cuban Science Day, the graduation of the VIII Edition of the Specialty in Public Administration at the Higher School of State and Government Staff (ESCEG) takes place with 15 graduates from different institutions of origin. 

During a year they acquired a wide variety of knowledge and tools, as well as a profound update of policies, regulations and government projections, with the participation of several executive speakers, such as Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz, together with the faculty. of teachers and workers, recognized for their quality. The good practice visits and training periods in their management positions have allowed them to acquire diagnostic skills and projection of solutions oriented towards innovation with a strategic focus.

The students rated the meaning of this preparation in five words, some of the most frequent being: professionalism, knowledge, camaraderie, commitment, demand, leadership, integrator, example, discipline, challenger, vision of the future, teamwork and unity.

The event was chaired by Miguel Mario Cabrera Castellanos, Head of the Directorate of State and Government Staff and the Rector of the ESCEG, Dr. C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández. Dr. Erick Robles Torres, Director of the National Institute of Endocrinology, intervened on behalf of the students. Also the student Walter Luis Duverger, director of the Ministry of Transportation, commented with great emotion on the journey of the 55 young people to the General Command of La Plata, as part of the route With Fidel in the heights, which the new generations star in and in which had the privilege of participating, in which they were accompanied by the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez. The event concluded with the performance of 3 songs by singer-songwriter Raúl Torres ending with "Cabalgando con Fidel." At the end of the event, the students planted the tree in the graduates' forest.
