Graduation of the V edition of the Diploma in Public and Business Administration


On November 29, 2024, the graduation of the V Edition of the Diploma in Public and Business Administration takes place at the Higher School of State and Government Staff (ESCEG), with 32 graduates from 27 bodies, organizations of the central administration of the state, national entities and different business groups.
For 11 weeks they received various knowledge and tools with an update of policies, regulations and projections, with the participation of several executive speakers such as Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz, together with the faculty of teachers, recognized by you for their quality, dedication , professionalism and excellence.
In the survey applied, the students rated the meaning of this preparation in five words, some of the most frequent being: camaraderie, professionalism, learning, knowledge, commitment, innovation, comprehensiveness, tenacity, discipline, challenger, teamwork and unity.
The event began with an emotional documentary of the career of the Commander in Chief and historical Leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, in tribute to the 8 years since his death. On behalf of the students, Antonio Curbelo Sardiñas, First Vice President of the National Institute of Territorial Planning and Urban Planning (INOTU), spoke, who valued the importance of preparing cadres for the performance of their management positions and thanked the institution for its leadership. , faculty and workers for the learning and attention received.
The event was chaired by the Head of the Directorate of State and Government Staff, Miguel Mario Cabrera Castellanos and by the Rector of the ESCEG, Dr. C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández, who valued as very positive the comprehensive vision achieved by the combination in this preparation of public and business administration managers, which strengthens unity, skills and effectiveness in the decision-making process. In her speech, the Rector highlighted as memorable and unforgettable the learning, mutual growth, ethics, commitment, solidarity, dedication and sacrifice, which allowed them to successfully face the adverse weather and energy conditions that occurred during this edition. of the Diploma.
Likewise, Mercedes mentioned that with this graduation there are 1,916 graduates among the 24 editions of the Diplomas in Public Administration, in Business Administration and Management and in the five editions of the Diploma in Public and Business Administration. Added to this are other preparations such as postgraduate specialties in Public Administration and Business Administration and Management with 271 graduates, training for the quarry of fundamental positions, with eight editions and 91 graduates and other training, courses and seminars add up to more. of 15,000 graduates since the creation of our School in 2011.
Finally, the students were invited to the traditional planting of the tree in the graduates' forest.
