Graduation of the II Edition of the Diploma in Public and Business Administration

On June 29, the graduation of the II Edition of the Diploma in Public and Business Administration is carried out at the Higher School of State and Government Cadres, of 34 cadres in decision-making positions of 25 bodies of the central state administration, bodies, entities national and different business groups. The act was chaired by the Vice Minister of Higher Education, Dr. C. Reynaldo Velázquez Rodríguez and the Rector of the ESCEG, Dr. C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández, who delivered the closing remarks. In these 10 weeks they received a broad update on policies, regulations, knowledge and tools, with the participation of speakers such as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba, the Secretary of the Council of State, the Comptroller General of the Republic and other executives, together with the faculty, recognized for their quality and professionalism.
On the other hand, among the five words with which the graduates qualified this preparation are reiterated: inclusive, innovation, updated, team, necessary, motivating, professional and learning, among others. In the survey applied to the students, they mentioned as very positive the learning, the training by generic competences of the cadres, with the aim of having a more efficient and effective management. They highlight the growth as professionals, the commitment to the country and the responsibilities as cadres, with a future, innovative, scientific approach, the need to transmit all the knowledge to the organizations to put it into practice as quickly as possible. They refer to the emphasis on preparation for government management based on the pillars of science and innovation, social communication and digital transformation. They state that they are in better conditions to fulfill their responsibilities, mention the strengthening of strategic thinking, innovation management, the legal bases of management, the management system, as well as the strengthening of relations with bodies, agencies and institutions, all of which favors the change of mentality. They recognize the professionalism and demand of the faculty, as well as the attention received by the support staff.
With this graduation there are 1815 graduates among the 24 editions of the Diplomas in Public Administration, in Management and Business Management and in the two editions of the Diploma in Public and Business Administration. Added to this are other preparations such as postgraduate specialties in Public Administration and Business Administration and Management with 259 graduates, those of training for the quarry of fundamental positions, which with the fourth edition that defends their work next week, will graduate a total of 46 cadres, as well as in other trainings, courses and seminars, there have been more than 10,000 graduates since the creation of the School in 2011.
