Graduate in Public and Business Administration, conducts a best practices visit at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba

Students participating in the 7th edition of the Diploma in Public and Business Administration, offered at the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG), conducted a best practices visit to the Hotel Nacional de Cuba as part of the diploma program. The objective of the visit was to observe the work systems of this renowned hotel, the management of quality indicators, and the development of other processes related to logistics and service delivery.
During the visit, Luis Miguel Diaz Sanchez, the hotel's general manager, was awarded his ESCEG professor certificate, having successfully completed his teacher certification process. At the conclusion of the visit, the students acknowledged the hotel's work and expressed their satisfaction with the experience. Also present from ESCEG was the Vice-Rector, Dr.C. José Luis López Carmenates, Professors Dr. Martín Barrios and Dr. Iván Pérez Íñiguez, as well as the coordinating professor of the edition.
The Hotel Nacional, a National Monument and recipient of the Memory of the World status at the national level awarded by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), was also a winner of the World Luxury Award 2025, accrediting it as a setting for best practices for sharing experiences and learning with the officers and reserves training at ESCEG.
