The Escuela Superior de Cuadros del Estado y del Gobierno de Cuba (ESCEG) develops exchanges with the Russian Academy of Economics and National Public Administration (RANEPA) Main lapels

During the month of May 2021 and covered by the Cooperation Memorandum signed in September 2019, between the Higher School of State and Government of Cuba (ESCEG) and the Russian Academy of Economy and National Public Administration (RANEPA), attached to the President of the Russian Federation, two virtual exchanges were jointly organized between the two institutions.

On March 19, 2021, in virtual format, the International Conference on the topic "Financial law and public administration: interactions and interdependencies" was held. The main directors of the ESCEG attended the virtual meeting. Dr. Cs José Carlos del Toro Ríos, member of the School's Academic Committee and General Director of the Ministry of Finance and Prices, presented the presentation “Local finances in Cuba”.

The International Conference was also attended by experts in financial law and public administration from various European countries.

And a second virtual meeting will take place on May 27, 2021. Both institutions will develop the Round Table on the theme "Modern public administration: the experience of Cuba and Russia."

The ESCEG at the Round Table will present two topics:

Topic 1: "Government management oriented to innovation in Cuba: support for Russian-Cuban collaboration". Speaker: Dra. C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández. Rector of the Higher School of Pictures of the State and Government of Cuba (ESCEG).

Topic 2: "Digital Government in Cuba". Speaker: Ernesto Rodríguez Hernández, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Communications of Cuba, MINCOM.

Cooperation with RANEPA is developed through the Institute of Civil Service and Administration (IPACS), RANEPA's largest structural unit.

Both exchanges will contribute to the strengthening of the excellent cooperative relations that exist between both educational institutions.
