he workers of the ESCEG support the 8th Congress of the PCC fulfilling all the proposed tasks, incorporated into the different activities that we have been summoned, being increasingly anti-imperialist and rejecting any attempt against our Revolution.
Faithful to our PCC, to Fidel, Raúl and to our President. The Communist Party of Cuba, an expression of the revolutionary unity that was forged in the struggle, with Marti's idea of creating a Party to constitute a Republic "with everyone and for the good of all." For this reason, this political organization is the guarantee of the continuity of the Revolution.
Its historical antecedents are in the Cuban Revolutionary Party founded by José Martí on April 10, 1892, and in the socialist ideas spread by the first Marxist-Leninist Party created by Carlos Baliño and Julio Antonio Mella, in 1925.
More than five decades later, unity continues to be one of the greatest challenges for the political organization, which will hold its VII Congress from April 16 to 19, with the attendance of a thousand delegates representing the entire militancy of the country.
