The ESCEG successfully concludes a day of round tables with the Russian Academy of Economics and National Public Administration (RANEPA)

Organized jointly by the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG) and the Russian Academy of Economics and National Public Administration (RANEPA), attached to the President of the Russian Federation and, protected by the Memorandum of Cooperation, for the training in the fields of public administration and companies, signed in September 2019, between the ESCEG and RANEPA, was developed in online format, a day of round tables, between December 12 to 15, 2022, which included 170 participants. In addition to members of the Board of Directors, professors and specialists from ESCEG, representatives of the Central Bank of Cuba, Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Ministry of Finance and Prices, Ministry of Economy and Planning attended; Ministry of Communications, Ministry of Energy and Mines; Ministry of Science Technology and Environment, Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP); Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba, Scientific and Technological Park of Havana; BioCubaFarma; Office of the Historian of the City of Havana; University of Havana; Company for the Development of Applications, Technologies and Systems (DATYS), Company of Information Technologies for Defense (XETID) and Palace of the Revolution. Dmitry Butashin, Vice Chancellor of RANEPA, Mercedes Delgado Fernández, Chancellor of ESCEG, Julio Antonio Garmendía Peña, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Russian Federation, Sergey Oboznov, Counselor of the Embassy participated in the opening of the conference. of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Cuba, Sergey Tikhonov, First Secretary of the Department of Latin America of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and Larisa Taradina, Director of Educational Development and International Cooperation of RANEPA and Antonio Carricarte Corona, President of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba. The debate between Russian and Cuban experts, representatives of the institutions mentioned as participants, dealt with the following topics:

Round Table of December 13: "Modern trends in the digitization of the financial market in Russia and Cuba".

Round Table of December 14: "Problems and prospects of modern development of SMEs in Russia and Cuba"

Round Table of December 15: "Formation of innovation ecosystems: development of technoparks, technopolises and clusters".

The exchanges included simultaneous interpretation by the Translation and Interpreter Services Team (ESTI). The bonds of friendship and collaboration between the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG) and the Russian Academy of Economics and Public Administration continue to strengthen National (RANEPA), attached to the President of the Russian Federation.
