ESCEG participates in Webinar "Covid-19 and virtualization of university teaching: from tactical response to innovation" organized by UNIA

The ESCEG Rector, Dra.C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández, the Vice-rector, Dra.C. Bárbara Susana Sánchez Vignau and the Specialist in virtual teaching-learning modalities, the Computer Engineer, Edel Díaz Peña, participate in the Webinar Seminar, under the title "Covid-19 and virtualization of university teaching: tactical response to innovation" , a topical seminar coordinated by Manuel Cebrián de la Serna, Vice-rector for Teaching Innovation and Digitization at the International University of Andalusia (UNIA), who will also speak as a speaker alongside María Antonia Peña, President of the University of Huelva; Jaime Alberto Leal, Rector of the National Open and Distance University (UNAD, Colombia); Lourdes Miró Amarante, Director of the Secretariat for Teaching Innovation and Digitization at UNIA and Juan Camarillo Casado, Technical Director of the Digital University Area at the University of Seville. The Webinar was moderated by María Sánchez, technician from UNIA's Innovation Area.

Our institution appreciates the shared knowledge of the experiences accumulated in virtualization for several years of the institutions that have exposed, of the strategies used for the sustainability of educational teaching processes in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic and the projections for the next periods with educational and technological innovations.

The preparation of managers in Cuba bets on virtual learning environments (EVA) in Moodle and the virtualization of conferences, meetings, workshops and seminars with a new platform, called Video Library and the intensive use of Videoconferencing, which constitutes a Strategy in the confrontation with COVID-19 and a Post-COVID-19 alternative.
