The ESCEG participates in the Round Table "BRICS on modern trends in public administration"




As part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed in September 2019 between the Higher School of State and Government Staff (ESCEG) and the Russian Academy of Economy and National Public Administration (RANEPA), attached to the President of the Russian Federation , the ESCEG participates in the Round Table “BRICS on modern trends in public administration”.
The virtual meeting was attended by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in the Russian Federation, Exmo. Mr. Julio Antonio Garmendía Peña and ambassadors from BRICS member countries.
RANEPA invited the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Federative Republic of Brazil and simultaneously to the Republic of Suriname, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to the Russian Federation, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation Republic of India, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Russian Federation, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the People's Republic of China, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Russian Federation, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of South Africa and at the same time in the Kingdom of Lesotho and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to the Russian Federation.
In the virtual meeting, Dr. C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández, Rector of the Higher School of State and Government Staff, presented the paper "Potentialities of biopharmaceutical innovation to confront covid-19 and sustainable development in Cuba ”.
On behalf of the ESCEG, in addition to Dr. C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández, Rector of the institution, Dr. C. Ana Gloria Navarro Pentón, Vice-Rector, Dr. C. José Miguel Valdés Portal, Head of the Computer Science Department, Michelle Pérez Acosta, Specialist B in Computer Science, as well as the Translators and Interpreters Services Team (ESTI).
For RANEPA, the following participated: Margolin Andrei, Vice Chancellor, Ruslan Korchagin, Acting Director of the Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service of RANEPA (IPACS RANEPA), Sikirinskaya Karolina, Head of the International Cooperation Department of IPACS RANEPA and Taradina Larisa, Director for Development of Education and International Cooperation of IPACS RANEPA.
Among the experts invited to the Round Table were, among others, representatives of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development; the Institute of Latin America of the Russian Academy of Sciences; of the Asian Association of Public Administration (AARA); of the BRICS National Research Committee; the Strategic Development Center of the Russian-Chinese Chamber for the Promotion of Trade in Machinery, Technical and Innovative Products; from Shanghai University of Politics and Law; of the Executive Committee of Business Russia; from the Department of Economic Theory of the National Research Technological University "MISIS"; from the Institute of History and Politics of Asian and African Countries of the Moscow State Pedagogical University; from the East Siberian Association of Biotechnology Clusters; from the BRICS Space Development Academy; from the Research Institute of Emerging Markets at the Moscow Skolkovo School of Management; from JSC "United Transport and Logistics Company-Eurasian Railway Alliance"; of the Department of World Economy and Management of Foreign Economic Activity of the Faculty of Public Administration of Moscow State University.
