The ESCEG participates in the meeting of the Russian-Cuban Working Group on cooperation in the field of education

As part of the XX session of the Cuba-Russia Intergovernmental Commission, the meeting of the Russian-Cuban working group on cooperation in the field of education was held in the "Sancti Spíritus" Room of the Hotel Nacional de Cuba. The meeting was chaired by the Cuban side by Dr. C Reynaldo Velázquez Zaldívar, Vice Minister of Higher Education in Cuba and by the Russian Federation, by the Secretary of State-Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education, Kucherenko Piotr Alexandrovich.
In the concerted work agenda, the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG), presented the results of the work achieved and the projections of collaboration and exchange with the Russian Academy of Economy and National Public Administration (RANEPA), initiated in September 17, 2019 through the signing of a memorandum of cooperation, with the objective of promoting the training of high-level managers in the fields of Public Administration and the Business System.
The intervention by the ESCEG was in charge of the vice-rector Barbara Susana Sánchez Vignau, who, after a brief review of the school, commented on the 14 academic exchanges developed with the participation of 464 participants belonging to ministries, state bodies, national entities, institutes, associations, business groups, municipal governments, universities and research centers on different topics of interest.
ESCEG and RANEPA have consolidated strong ties of collaboration and friendship, which respond to the foreign policy priorities of Russia and Cuba and promote, especially, academic exchanges that generate development, scientific updating and international cooperation.
