ESCEG participates in the Council of Rectors of the Capital.

Represented by the vice-rector Dra.C. Barbara Susana Sánchez Vignau, the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG) participated in the Council of Rectors of Havana, held at the University of Pedagogical Sciences "Enrique José Varona" where the issues referred to with the beginning of the new school year in the universities of the capital next April 18 and attention to the preparation process of Mayors, Presidents of Municipal Assemblies of People's Power and management teams, of the 15 municipalities of the province.
An official from the Provincial Committee of the Party in Havana, the Chief of Cadres of the province and the Director of Preparation and Improvement of Cadres of the Ministry of Higher Education, comrade Gerardo Montenegro Morán, participated in the exchange, who offered details related to the fulfillment of this important task that will soon be assumed by the country's universities.
This preparation process will give continuity to the National Course held between February 28 and March 5 at the National School of the "Ñico López" Party with the participation of 31 selected mayors and presidents of the Municipal Assemblies of People's Power, with the objective of updating them in the legal policies and regulations for the performance of their positions and the improvement of municipal development strategies.
