This afternoon, the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG) hosted students participating in the third edition of the First-Grade Specialization Program in Human Resources Management and Employment and the Work System of Cadres and Reserves from the "Máximo Gómez" FAR Academy. The meeting aimed to learn about the ESCEG's work in fulfilling its mission and identify experiences and best practices in the development of its substantive processes. The participating students hold responsibilities in cadre and human resources activities in different units and represent all the country's provinces.
The exchange was chaired by Mercedes Delgado Fernández, PhD and Rector of the ESCEG, Cor. Waldo Polanco Campo, Head of the Department of Organization and Cadre Management at the FAR Academy, and Dr. José Luis López Carmenates, Vice-Rector of the center. The rector of ESCEG offered a presentation of the center, including the main results achieved by the center during its 14 years of existence, as well as the work projects it is undertaking in view of its fifteenth anniversary.
The students expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to learn about the school's work and valued the exchange as very positive, highlighting its contribution to their teacher training. For its part, the Polanco Choir also expressed its gratitude for the meeting and valued new opportunities to develop similar encounters with other students in the program.
