ESCEG in the call for the First National Workshop on science, innovation, digital transformation, communication and information in the promotion and development of prevention and control

Last March 12, Gladys Bejerano Portela, Comptroller General of the Republic of Cuba convenes the First National Workshop on science, innovation, digital transformation, communication and information in the promotion and development of prevention and control, which will be held from the 12th to the 15th. of July. In the organization of the Workshop, the Rector of the Higher School of State and Government Staff (ESCEG), Dr. C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández, participates as a member of the Academic Committee, with the objective of making a survey of all the works defended in the institution by the State and Government cadres linked to the topics of the Workshop.
The Workshop aims to analyze, exchange and disseminate best practices in order to forge a culture of prevention and control in administrations, based on the predominance of legality, integrity and transparency in the conduct and actions of staff and their labor groups, whose results impact the fight against deviations and the re-boost of the economy, with efficiency and quality.
In the presentation of the call, representatives of the universities of Havana and the Party (Ñico López) and the Higher School of Government and State Cadres suggested that degree theses and other academic research already carried out be presented at the scientific event. on the topics under discussion.
In this sense, this national workshop is held in order to contribute to the formation of a culture of control and prevention, with workers and managers immersed in the political process to which they have been summoned, on the implementation of Government Projections to correct distortions and re-boost the economy during the year 2024.
