ESCEG and the National Academy of Governance of the People's Republic of China, inaugurate Online Course: "Innovation in Governance and Service Government

As part of the bilateral courses between the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba, the online Course "Innovation in Governance and Government of Service" was inaugurated to be held from September 13 to 24, organized by the National Academy of Governance of China (ANGC) and the Higher School of Cadres of the State and Government of Cuba (ESCEG).
81 participants, from 36 institutions and with the presence of the Ministries of Communications, the Ministry of Foreign Relations, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Justice, the Attorney General's Office, 24 universities and science, technology and innovation entities, the Mariel Special Development Zone, the BioCubaFarma Business Group and representatives of the country's National Innovation Council.
At the opening, the Rector of the ESCEG, Dra.C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández, thanked the National Academy of Governance of China for such an important course and highlighted the ties of friendship and cooperation between both institutions, which have been consolidated and strengthened since the first Memorandum of Understanding signed in November of 2014, to exchange and cooperate in training and scientific research. The Vice Minister of the Ministry of Communications, Ing. Ernesto Rodríguez Hernández, accompanied the head of the ESCEG in the opening ceremony, who offered words of gratitude to the Chinese Academy and its professors and distinguished the importance of this preparation for Cuba.
