Elected rector of the ESCEG as Full Member of the Cuban Academy of Sciences

As a result of the important work carried out in favor of science and the results achieved in her academic-research work, the rector of the Higher School of State and Government Staff, Dr. C Mercedes Delgado Fernández, was elected as a full member of the Academy of Sciences Cuba, in the Technical Sciences section. The election process of the Academy of Sciences, with high rigor, nominated researchers and personalities with relevant careers, for new full members or young associates for the period 2024-2029.
Dr. C Mercedes Delgado Fernández accumulates important academic and research merits, highlighting her leadership work in Cuban Higher Education, the increasing publication of scientific articles, the training of doctors, the promotion of Innovation issues in different modalities of preparation and improvement of the country's cadres, advisory work at different levels and structures of the government and the business sector, participation in decision-making commissions, work in research training with young people and leadership in collaboration international with counterpart academies from the People's Republic of China, the Russian Federation, the Republic of VietNam and the Republic of Belarus.
