The day of round tables with the Russian Academy of Economics and National Public Administration (RANEPA) continues at ESCEG

Covered in the Memorandum of Cooperation, for training in the fields of public administration and business, signed in September 2019, between the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG) and the Russian Academy of Economics and Public Administration National (RANEPA), attached to the President of the Russian Federation, the Round Table "Problems and perspectives of the modern development of SMEs in Russia and Cuba" is taking place today. During the virtual meeting, which is the third of the day that takes place from December 12 to 15, Russian and Cuban experts discussed topics such as: the Single Window for Foreign Trade of Cuba (VUCE); the Single Window for Foreign Investment (VUINEX); private investment in the SME segment; the role of SMEs for the economic development of Cuba; services for SMEs in the city of Moscow; benefits and incentives for the incubation of Technology-Based SMEs in the Science and Technology Park of Havana; ecosystems of the Moscow Innovation Cluster as a motor for the development of small and medium-sized companies, as well as the development of SMEs in the Office of the Historian of the city of Havana. The virtual appointment had 46 participants, 34 from Cuba and 12 from Russia. For Cuba, the following participated as experts: Lietsa Peña Pacheco, Director of Exports of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment (MINCEX); Anabel Reloba Pérez, Director of the MINCEX Single Window for Foreign Investment; Daniel Torralbas Socorro, Specialist of the Directorate of Regulation of Economic Actors of the Ministry of Economy and Planning; Maikel David Ruenes Correa, Business Director of the Science and Technology Park of Havana and Perla Rosales del Toro, Deputy Director of the Office of the Historian of the city of Havana. The virtual exchange was also attended by members of the Board of Directors, specialists and professors of the ESCEG, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment (MINCEX); Office of the Historian of the city of Havana; National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba (ANEC); Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP); Central Bank of Cuba (BCC); Bank of Credit and Commerce (BANDEC); Corporate Banking of Banco Popular de Ahorro (BPA); Banco Metroplitano S.A and Science and Technology Park of Havana. For the Russian academy, the following participated as experts: Yulia Alferova, General Director of the "National Agency for the Development of Entrepreneurship", former adviser to the Minister of Economic Development of SMEs; Sergey Fedoreev, Head of the Online Investment Platform "vDelo"; Alexander Zaitsev, Head of the Center for Business Services of the Central Office of the State Budgetary Institution "Moscow Small Business" and Andrey Yakimov, Head of the Department of International Cooperation of the Moscow Innovation Cluster Foundation. Collaboration is strengthened, for the preparation of cadres, between the Russian Academy of Economics and National Public Administration (RANEPA), attached to the President of the Russian Federation and the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG).
