Today the Cuban Ministerial Seminar on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Particularities for a New Era, which was held in virtual format from November 17 to 30, 2022, by the National Academy, successfully concluded. of the Interior of China, as part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed on May 26, 2018, with the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG). This important preparation takes place within the framework of bilateral collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba (MINCEX) and the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM) and took place a few days after the XX National Congress of the Communist Party of China, a key event in the confrontation with the current challenges and the design of strategic plans for the next five years in the Asian nation. The Seminar had the support of the Embassies of the Republic of Cuba and the People's Republic of China and the participation of 51 managers from various ministries, State agencies, national entities, Special Development Zone Mariel, research centers, companies from strategic sectors of the biotechnological and food industries, as well as officials of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba. At the closing of the Seminar, a student forum was held, in which they participated as speakers, for Chinese academy, Mr. Cai Wei, Director of the Department of Latin America and the Caribbean, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Xu Wei, Director General of the International Cooperation Department of the National Agency for International Development Cooperation (CIDCA), Mr. Sun Zhonghe, Director of the Training Institute for International Business Officials of the Ministry of Commerce and Mr. Chu Songyan, Director of the Department of Social and Ecological Civilization Studies of Aca China National Governance Demia.
