Cuban culture and identity dialogue in Multilateral Seminar with China

As part of the Online Multilateral Seminar on Public Administration coordinated between the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG) and the National Academy of the Interior of China (ANGCh), a presentation was made by the Vice Chancellor Dr.C Barbara Susana Sánchez Vignau , about the role of Cuban culture and its participation in the construction of the nationality and identity of Cubans.
The intervention addressed the origins of the national culture, its transculturation process, its wide scope and its main manifestations, emphasizing the achievements of Cuban culture after 1959 and the important participation of Fidel Castro, who from his "Words to the Intellectuals" ensured the foundations of the cultural policy of the Revolution. In them, the leader of the Cuban Revolution indicated that culture was the most important thing for the country and that, by saving it, the national identity and the nation itself would be saved.
The exhibition recognized the value that culture entails for Cubans, since it satisfies and elevates the human being, resulting in an essential bridge between social justice as a priority of freedom, liberation from all dominations and the flourishing of all human capacities as project of the Revolution, and where everyone has the right to participate in the cultural and artistic life of the nation.
This academic exercise was also shared, with representatives of Mexico and Argentina, countries that participated jointly with Cuba in this important Multilateral Seminar, which also exposed identity and cultural aspects of both nations, highlighting figures, tangible and intangible heritage, customs and histories. that transcend their borders.
The Multilateral Seminar on Public Administration with the participation of officials from Latin America ended on March 29, after intense learning sessions and good practices shared by excellent professionals from that sister nation.
