Conference on Consolidating the Foundations and Making Comprehensive Efforts to Create a New Situation of Modernization in the Chinese Style Successfully Takes Place

On November 19, 2025, under the auspices of the Continuity Memorandum of Understanding signed on July 8, 2025, between the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG) and the Shanghai Institute of Management (SAI), the online conference “Consolidating the Foundations and Making Comprehensive Efforts to Create a New Situation of Modernization in the Chinese Style, Focused on Economic Construction” was held. Eighteen Cuban participants attended, including cadres, specialists, and professors from various public and private sector institutions in the country.

The collaboration between ESCEG and SAI began with the signing, in June 2016, of the first Memorandum of Understanding for exchanges and cooperation in training, scientific research, and technical assistance in public and business policies.

Since then, we have conducted exchanges year after year on topics highly relevant to the training of cadres in the Cuban public administration and private sector. The bonds of friendship and collaboration between the State and Government Cadre Higher School and the Shanghai Institute of Management continue to strengthen.
