Closure of the "Seminar on administrative management for Cuban divisional and ministerial level officials"



The "Seminar on administrative management for Cuban divisional and ministerial level officials" closes on June 11 with 50 participants from 22 different institutions. The seminar includes 14 activities, including live and recorded conferences and virtual visits, which, without a doubt, constitutes highly relevant learning for all the participants, the managers, officials and professors who prepare the cadres. The Rector, Dr. C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández of the Higher School of State and Government Cadres gave the closing remarks. For the China Academy of Governance, closing remarks were given by Ms. Duan Hong Xia, Deputy Director of the Hong Kong and Macao International Training Center of the National Academy of Governance of China. In a seminar that lasted from June 5 to 11, he addressed a deep update of China's administrative management with emphasis on what was approved at the XX Congress of the Communist Party of China.
The Rector of the ESCEG highlighted the scientific method, the historical, cultural, ideological and dialectical analysis, with emphasis on the current context, the risks and strategic opportunities at the international and national level in the path of building socialism, the approach comprehensive, the high mastery of the teachers, the professionalism of the organizers and interpreters, the visit of good practices, the discipline and perseverance of the students with their dedication, comments and questions, as well as the quality of the virtual platform used.
He also mentioned that with this seminar there are more than 950 graduates since 2015, between the Higher School of State and Government Cadres and the National Academy of Government of China, as well as with other 5 institutions, such as the Shanghai Institute of Administration , that of Guanxi and the Shandong Academy of Government, the Organization Department of the Work Committee of State organs of the Communist Party and the National Commission for Development and Reform of China, there are more than 60 joint training actions with more than 2,500 participants between directors, officials and teachers.Also the deputy director of the National Academy of Governance of China thanks ESCEG for its pertinent and systematic collaboration; It highlights how in a week both parties have learned from each other in the field of administration, in mutual trust and the relationship between both Academies is deepening. It constitutes a pragmatic learning stimulus in which friendship will last forever.
