Closure of the online Course "Innovation in Governance and Government in Service" organized by the Academy of Governance of China and the Higher School of State and Government Cadres.



The online course "Innovation in Governance and Government of Service" was developed from September 13 to 24, 2021, organized by the National Academy of Governance of China and the Higher School of State and Government Cadres of Cuba, as part of the bilateral courses between the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba.
Also held on September 24 is the Forum for answers to the 30 questions posed by students by Dr. C. Wang Manchuan, professor at the National Academy of Governance of China for one hour. This is followed by the closing ceremony, chaired by Ms. Duan Hongxia, Deputy Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Training Center of the Chinese National Academy of Governance and the Rector of the Higher School of State and Government Cadres, Dr. C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández.
The 81 graduates of the 36 different institutions that occupy responsibilities in the direction, professors and specialists of Cuba, highlight the high satisfaction for the knowledge acquired, the preparation, professionalism and mastery of the lecturers, the audiovisual materials of good practices, the questions answered , both in the morning today and in the forum, the usefulness, timeliness, coherence and comprehensiveness of the topics, the linking of theory with practice with very up-to-date information, as well as the use of the platform in a virtual learning environment employed .
The course has delved into the enhancement of digital governance capabilities, China's national conditions and development, the hundred-year history of the Chinese Communist Party's struggle, Xi Jinping's thoughts on governance of the country, the joint construction of the High-quality development of "the Belt and Road", the modernization of the Chinese government structure and governance capacity, the transformations of government functions and the improvement of administrative efficiency, the performance management of the Chinese government as well as the prevention and control of major epidemics.
This course constitutes another fruitful step in the relations between the Higher School of Cadres of the State and Government of Cuba and the National Academy of Governance of China that began in 2014, as well as between all the Cuban and Chinese institutions that participate in these. courses, and that at the same time contributes to the projection of higher goals in quantity and quality.
