China begins public administration course for senior officials of the State and Government of Cuba

During the ceremony, the ambassador of Cuba, Miguel Angel Ramírez Ramos, and Mrs. Mercedes Delgado, Rector of the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG) held a fraternal meeting with Ma Jiantang, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and executive vice-president of the prestigious institution subordinated to the Council of State.

Ma Jiantang offered a warm welcome to the participants, praised the excellent relations of cooperation with the Higher School of State Cadres and the Government of our country and highlighted the coincidences between both countries in terms of reciprocal training of public officials to equip them with the preparation required in the performance of their duties.

The Cuban Ambassador, on his part, showed satisfaction with the level of cooperation carried out and referred to the importance of mutual collaboration in the exchange of experiences in the construction of socialism with the characteristics of each country.

The program of the course on governance of public administration will be extended for a period of three weeks and will include seminars, conferences and visits to places of interest, among other activities. (Embacuba China)
