Bilateral seminar on cooperation in standardization for Cuba organized jointly by ESCEG and the Jiangsu Quality Inspection and Quarantine Institute


The bilateral Seminar on cooperation in standardization for Cuba took place from November 1 to 14, organized jointly between the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG) and the Jiangsu Quality Inspection and Quarantine Institute, as part of the collaboration between the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba, with a delegation of 20 participants with directors from 18 institutions. The delegation was chaired by the first deputy minister of the Ministry of Justice, Rosabel Gamón Verde, who gives update conferences at the ESCEG and as coordinated by the Vice-rector of the ESCEG, Lisi Campos Chaurero. Among the various activities carried out, the group participated in the XVI China-LAC Business Summit. This seminar was an opportunity to strengthen the ties of collaboration between Cuba and China and between the ESCEG and various institutions, both with which agreements have been signed and others with which they will be signed soon.
