Inauguration of the V Edition of the graduates of Public Administration and Management and Business Management

With the aim of raising the professional level, the performance in the position and the preparation to generate the change of mentality that is needed to achieve, with success, the updating of the Cuban economic model, the V edition of the Public Administration graduates was inaugurated and of Management and Business Management, this Monday at the Superior School of State and Government Cadres, in the capital.

In this important center, 61 first-level management cadres were registered, of whom more than 30 percent are women, to receive for ten weeks, with quality and dedication, lectures, theoretical classes and the relevant guidelines for their evaluation, in order to graduate with a greater accumulation of knowledge and good practices.

This was expressed at the opening ceremony by Mrs. Mercedes Delgado Fernández, Rector of the institution, who urged students to be reciprocal with teachers, in terms of the effort to improve and the discipline they must maintain in the courses, based on the Policy Guidelines. Economic and Social Party and its National Conference.

"Graduates promote the perfect performance and perfection of management methods and techniques, and contribute to the formation of an economic culture of respect for the law in force in the country," she added.

The selection of applicants and the priority with which their incorporation should be measured is one of the most important aspects to be taken into account, said Jorge Luis Guerrero Almaguer, Head of the Directorate of State and Government Cadres and member of the Central Committee of the Party, who also said that 3,699 have been those who have already received this preparation in the center of the capital and its branch schools across the country.

Joaquín Alonso, graduated from the 1st edition of the specialty of Management and Business Management, emphasized the importance of these graduates to raise the preparation of those who, in this transcendental moment of Cuban history and guided by the country's top management, undertake the path of fighting for the benefit of the people.

The opening ceremony was chaired by Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, member of the Political Bureau and vice-president of the Council of Ministers; and Rodolfo Alarcón, Minister of Higher Education.
