Beijing Institute of Technology visits ESCEG




On March 31 and April 1, a delegation from the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) visited the Graduate School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG), chaired by Liu Hao, Executive Dean of the School of Global Governance and the School of Management, accompanied by other executives, including the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Management, the Deputy Director of the Graduate School, and the Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Finance. The ESCEG was chaired by Rector Mercedes Delgado Fernández, accompanied by the Vice Rectors and heads of teaching departments.
The visit is taking place pursuant to the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on October 14, 2024, on the occasion of an exchange of rectors from Cuban universities at the Beijing Institute of Technology. During this visit to ESCEG, exchanges took place to agree on the 2025-2026 activity plan. This included the development of joint programs to build capacity for senior executives and officials in the public and business administration, the design of training sessions for senior executives and officials from Cuba, the exchange of business leaders from both countries, participation in BIT master's programs, and the creation of a joint center for digital transformation.
During the visit, a workshop on smart education and artificial intelligence was presented by the Deputy Director of the Graduate School, and Liu Hao presented the lecture "Innovation in Global Governance of Science and Technology."
