Attention to the population, a priority in the preparation of Cuban public servants.

As part of the "Public Administration Management" course of the Postgraduate Specialty in Public Administration taught at the Higher School of State and Government Staff (ESCEG), the students of the IX edition held an exchange with Dr. C María del Carmen Cedeño Rodríguez, head of the Department of Attention to the Population of the Palace of the Revolution, in which the need to take the process of attention to the complaints and proposals of the population to higher stages was reaffirmed, starting from the approval of the new law that regulates said procedure. At the meeting, information was provided on the behavior of the issues addressed with respect to the same period in 2023 and the importance of the issue for the Public Administration was highlighted, pointing out the high responsibility and sensitivity that the issue has, in the midst of the complex scenario that the nation lives. It is not a voluntary activity to be carried out by the organizations, it is an obligation, according to the Constitution and the laws.
