10th edition of the postgraduate specialties in Public Administration and Business Management and Administration

On May 12, the Higher School for State and Government Cadres (ESCEG) began its 10th edition of the postgraduate programs in Public Administration (AP) and Business Administration and Management (DGE) with an enrollment of 38 executives. The inauguration was presided over by the Head of the Directorate of State and Government Cadres, Miguel Mario Cabrera Castellanos, and the Rector, Dr. C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández. Also present were the institution's Vice-Rectors, heads of teaching departments, and professors. During the day, students enrolled in the Automated Student Management System (SAGE), received instructions on how to use the Virtual Learning Environment (EVA), the study programs, and the teaching schedule. Students also received their first teaching activity on generic competencies for cadres and competency profiles. These postgraduate specialties, accredited for excellence in 2020, will be taught over a 10-month period this year, during which more than 50% of the program will be spent in training in their management positions to conduct diagnoses and project innovations. To date, a total of 313 postgraduate specialists have graduated from ESCEG in the nine completed editions of both specialties.
