The Higher School of State and Government Cadres represented in the 1st. Havana Fair on Local Development

The 1st. Havana Fair on Local Development, based at the Expocuba fairgrounds, develops among its many activities the presentation of papers, book launches, workshops and others. The Higher School of State and Government Staff is represented by teachers and researchers who will be presenting their research on Local Development.

The Panel Towards a prosperous and sustainable development: necessary notes and in Commission 4 Science, Innovation and local development. Realities and Perspectives, chaired by Dr. Bárbara Susana Sánchez Vignau, Vice Chancellor of the ESCEG, has had the presentation of various papers and advanced experiences from different municipalities of Havana.

Professors Maritza Mengana, Yenis Pareta and Vivían Antúnez Saiz, presented their papers on topics related to local development.

A book was also launched by the Vice President of ANEC, Dr. Francisco Borrás, where two of its authors are professors at ESCEG, Dr. Lydia Garrigós Andreu and Dr. Martín Irian Barrios.

The occasion has been propitious to show the advances in the Local Development of Havana based on science in innovation.
