The first methodological workshop and exchange of experiences on the preparation and improvement of the cadres of the public and business administration is developed in the ESCEG

Today's morning, the first methodological and experience-sharing workshop on preparing and improving public and business administration cadres was held, organized by the Higher School of State and Government Staff (ESCEG), which included the participation of heads of upgrading cadres, coordinators and professors from the country's authorized institutions. The opening words of the Workshop were given by Dr. C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández, Rector of the ESCEG, who referred to the work projections and priorities in the preparation of public and business administration cadres. The Vice Chancellor Dr. C. Ana Gloria Navarro Pentón presented a summary of the work carried out by the authorized institutions in the period, highlighting the provision of organizational forms of professional improvement that enhance the development of skills for the performance of the positions, such as courses , workshops, training, on topics such as monetary regulation, food sovereignty, implementation of the 63 agricultural measures, improvement of the state company, new economic actors, design of competency profiles for positions, management of the municipal government, design and implementation of Municipal Development Strategies, among other preparations.

The Head of the Educational Department of Management and Business Management of the ESCEG referred to the organizational forms that can be taught, for the development of managerial skills in the exercise of business autonomy and management of the municipal government. Several institutions presented their experiences in the teaching of the Diplomas in Public Administration and in Business Administration and Management, and other organizational forms of professional improvement, through virtual platforms and in a blended manner. Participants were invited to develop the next Methodological and Experience Exchange Workshop, in the second half of March 2022. The methodological advice to the institutions that participate in the preparation and improvement of public and business administration cadres is consolidated.
