GPOR Workshop on Financial Statement Interpretation and Business Transformations

On October 1st and 2nd, 2026, the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG) conducted a workshop on the interpretation of financial statements and business transformations for the Pork Production and Marketing Business Group (GPOR). Thirty-four executives participated, including the Group's President, Yusleidys Pérez Prats, Vice Presidents, and other officials, as well as the General Managers of the companies located in the country's provinces.

The training focused on the implementation of state-run business transformations under Decree Law 120 and its supplementary regulations. Vice-Rector Lisi Campos Chaurero, representing the Higher School of State and Government Cadres, led the training for the executives in the interpretation of financial statements. The Rector of ESCEG, Mercedes Delgado Fernández, presented the experiences of the Seminar on In-Depth Study of the Evolution and Transformation of Business Development in China, which was given by the International Cooperation Center of the National Development and Reform Commission of the Republic, organized jointly by ESCEG with the participation of 25 Cuban managers developed in the People's Republic of China.
