ESCEG Union recognizes outstanding workers at its first Union Assembly of 2026.

Chaired by Dr. Mercedes Delgado Fernández and led by Dr. Marlenys Martínez Clapé, General Secretary of the S/S ESCEG, the Union Assembly for January was held at the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG). The event served to recognize the career of the Vice-Rector for Economic and Administrative Affairs, MSc. Lisi Campos Chaurero, with the presentation of the Rafael María de Mendive Distinction, awarded by the National Union of Education, Science, and Sports Workers to employees who, for 20, 25, or more years, have dedicated the best years of their lives to the noble work of education and have demonstrated exemplary conduct in accordance with revolutionary principles. Professor Dr. Raudelis Peña Breffe, from the Department of Business Administration and Management, was also recognized with a certificate accrediting him as a Full Professor at ESCEG, after successfully completing the requirements for this position.

At another point in the meeting, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. José Luis López Carmenates, presented the projections for academic training and professional development activities planned for the year, which address the fulfillment of the school's mission. To conclude the meeting, the staff were presented with an analysis of the 2025 budget closing and the ESCEG's work priorities for 2026.
