Following Martí's precept, "To Honor Brings Honor," the workers of the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG) reaffirmed this morning their commitment to participate in the posthumous tribute to the 32 Cuban combatants who fell in the sister Republic of Venezuela, victims of the vile aggression perpetrated in the early hours of January 3rd by US mercenary forces.

At the rally, the will of all Cubans to defend the nation was reaffirmed, amidst a hostile context exacerbated by the continued threats from the Trump administration. The Rector of ESCEG, Dr. Mercedes Delgado Fernández, accompanied by the General Secretary of the PCC branch, Marta Abreu Bosch, emphasized the importance of everyone's participation in the activities convened on January 15th and 16th, as a clear demonstration of our nation's resolve against the interventionist actions of Yankee imperialism and to honor our fallen comrades who died in the line of duty. Venezuela and Cuba, united in love and patriotic commitment!
