ESCEG participates in the MTSS Annual Science and Innovation Results Workshop

On December 9, 10 and 11, the Science and Innovation Results Workshop of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MTSS) for the year 2025 was held. The objective of the meeting was to evaluate the results of the organization's science management and its contribution to the effectiveness of the social protection system, collaboration between institutions and knowledge networks, as well as promote the social appropriation of knowledge for strategic decision-making.

Present on behalf of the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCG), professors Dr.C Barbara Susana Sánchez Vignau and the M.Sc. María Mercedes Machín Hernández, responsible for coordination and teaching of topics associated with the development of social policies in Cuba, also with the participation of MTSS managers and experts. A special moment in the event was the Workshop on evaluation and monitoring of indicators for the evaluation of social policies in Cuba, a research in which the ESCEG and the MTSS work together for the development of doctoral research.

The school and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security maintain close collaborative relationships, which have made possible the preparation of its managers and the development of important innovation projects.
