The plenary session included speeches by the Rectors of Presidential Academies from countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Armenia) and the Rector of ESCEG. The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Russian Federation was also present. Of particular importance was the meeting with the Rector of the Presidential Academy of Russia and the agreements reached to strengthen the fruitful collaboration, which also included the participation of the Cuban Embassy. The Rectors of ESCEG and RANEPA highlighted the 65th anniversary of the re-establishment of diplomatic and friendly relations between Cuba and Russia, and the fruitful cooperation between ESCEG and RANEPA since 2019, which includes annual courses, seminars, week-long roundtables, exchanges, and in-person and virtual visits between the two institutions, resulting in over 900 graduates. The Rector of ESCEG mentioned the shared motto between ESCEG and RANEPA: “RUSSIA AND CUBA – TOGETHER FOREVER!” and the expression “heart to heart,” which is always present in our exchanges. Both rectors expressed their gratitude for the courses offered by RANEPA at ESCEG from June 16 to 20, 2025, entitled “Global Trends and Priorities in the Development of Public Administration in the 21st Century,” to 20 state and government officials.
