Students of the Diploma in Public and Business Administration conduct a best practices visit to the FGR


Students enrolled in the seventh edition of the Diploma in Public and Business Administration at the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG) held an exchange with the Deputy Attorney General of the Republic, Alina Montesino Li, to learn about the best practices of the Attorney General's Office (FGR), as part of the Public Administration Management course. Also participating in the meeting were the chief prosecutors from the departments of Organization and Planning, Information Technology and Communications, Training, Development and Innovation, and Citizen Services—areas covered in the students' curriculum.
During the exchange, the Deputy Attorney General provided extensive information on the fulfillment of the office's mission, from compliance with Article 156 of the Constitution of the Republic to the approval of its organic law, and also covered other related topics such as: the structure of the Cuban Public Prosecutor's Office, characteristics of its workforce, management and training of human resources (teaching, graduates, participation), the office's activities with young people, awards received, computerization of processes, the ICT Development Program, Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity for the period 2024-2028, experiences in the application of the STI strategy, the Citizen Services Process, the office's Communication Strategy aimed at improving legal education for citizens, as well as the results of prosecutor training at ESCEG and other educational centers.
The meeting was dedicated to the Centennial of the Birth of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro, and proved to be of great interest to the participants and an opportunity to strengthen the close ties between ESCEG and the Attorney General's Office.
