Executives from the Beijing Institute of Management visit ESCEG


From September 24 to 26, a delegation from the Beijing Institute of Management (BAI) visited the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG). During the visit, both parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the development of academic and educational activities, including the exchange of information and academic materials; visits and exchanges of management, research, training, and other personnel; visits and exchanges of students and faculty; coordination of teaching; development of collaborative research projects and other projects; joint development of best practice scenarios for teaching and research in public administration and business; organization of joint academic activities such as conferences, seminars, congresses, symposia, short training courses, and modules of interest to both universities; and the publication of scholarly articles in the journals of both institutions. During the visit, seminars were held on the following topics: 1. Modernization the Chinese way; 2. Democracy the Chinese way; and 3. Experience in training civil servants. Students from the 7th edition of the Diploma in Public and Business Administration, as well as ESCEG directors and professors, participated in the seminars.

During their visit to the People's Republic of China from September 8 to 21, ESCEG's directors toured the facilities of the Beijing Institute of Management. Both exchanges contributed to the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and the planning of training initiatives, as well as further exploration of teaching methods for managers and the professional development of faculty. Rector Mercedes Delgado Fernández invited the delegation to participate in the 1st International Convention on Innovation and Leadership in Public and Business Administration (CILAPE 2026), to be held from October 16 to 20, 2026, coinciding with ESCEG's 15th anniversary.
